Jesus predicted there would be hatred against His followers

Earth6391

The world hates us because it knows not God and hated Him from the beginning

Jesus made some very relevant statements concerning the hatred of His followers (also called Christians) a long time ago.  In the book of John from the Bible Jesus stated these words to His disciples,  “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”  (see John 15:19)  In verse 18, we read that Jesus made it clear that He would be the object of this hatred before it would come to Christians.   “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”

God makes it clear that any hostility Christians face is actually aimed at God Himself.   If you don’t believe that, all one needs to do is take a look at the Ten Commandments.   Looking at just a few of the commandments, ask yourself if you have ever lied, used God’s name as a cuss word,  lusted (Jesus said that is committing adultery in the heart – see Matthew 5:27,28).  had hateful thoughts toward a brother, or failed to put God first?  If so, then we are seen from God’s perspective as breaking His perfect, holy law.  Take a moment to think about what this means.   Perhaps you find or have found yourself getting enraged at God.  Any anger or lack of humility we have toward God is the hostility we have by nature toward Him.  But our mind and flesh filled desires are to naturally desire to do evil and break God’s law.

“…the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”  see Romans 8:7,8

We all by nature deserve the judgment of God because we have broken God’s law.   We have all committed crimes against God who cannot have sin in His presence.  (Sin is the breaking of God’s perfect law and we are guilty of that as seen in the good person test. ) The question we all need to ask is what can be done, if anything, to remedy our relationship with God?  If God judges us who are deserving of Hell because we have sinned against Him, is that the end of us or is there a way of escape?

 “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.”  Hebrews 9:27

For anyone sensitive to finding out the answer to this they will find it.   You may be surprised or not but the answer has nothing to do with good deeds we do or don’t do.  It has nothing to do with what sacrifice we can or cannot make for God either.  We cannot earn back a right relationship with God.  In fact, the answer really has nothing to do with us at all but Him.  And the answer will not be because one joined the right church, or became a better person or found Religion.   There is no religion that has the answer for how to escape God’s judgment and restore a right relationship with Him because the answer is found only in God in the Bible.  God Himself is the only one who can provide a way of escape from His judgment.   Because His love is so great for us, He did that Himself 2000 years ago in the person of Jesus Christ.   Jesus Christ is the perfect, holy sacrifice who paid the penalty for us breaking His own law.

“now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”  Hebrews 9:26

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Jesus Christ is the answer for all humankind to be saved from coming judgment against sin.  Satan (God’s arch-enemy)  knows it and hates it.   Therefore he hates true Christians because he hated God first. But there is hope because Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and payment, satisfying the great wrath that God has against sin.

“Therefore He [Jesus] is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”  Hebrews 7:25

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”  see Romans 8:9-10

Jesus predicted there would be hatred for Christians

Earth6391

What did Jesus say about how His own would be treated while on this earth?

Jesus made some very relevant statements concerning the hatred of His followers (also called Christians) a long time ago.  In the book of John from the Bible Jesus stated these words to His disciples,  “If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”  (see John 15:19)  In verse 18, we read that Jesus made it clear that He would be the object of this hatred before it would come to Christians.   “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”

The biggest dilemma for humankind: We love sin but God hates it

1_Peter3_12

It seems simple enough for a few of us to understand why Obama and the current Democrat party are consistent apologists of Islamic Jihad while they demonstrate outrage and hatred toward Christians and biblical based thinking.   So why do they do it?   Simply because they are on the same side and working for the same one who is behind the carnage of Islamic Jihad, murders, crimes, deceit and all evil in the world.   (The evil we see and commit is called sin. Sin is the breaking of God’s commands as described in the Ten Commandments–which by the way no one is exempt from breaking).

These apologies and excuses for atrocities carried out about the Jihadis that are led by Barack Obama, Hillary or other leaders are done for the same reason people in LGBT community can be targeted and murdered in cold blood while the community as a whole goes on to condemn another group unrelated to the crimes (in this case is was Christians).     And similarly the real reason Islam in many cases is being ignored for the crimes, beheadings, murders and persecution committed around the world is because the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who commit, excuse and ignore such acts whether they call themselves Muslim or not.

Cannot escape Bible predictions coming true

Many people scoff at the Bible and people who proclaim Jesus but in the Bible it is written that this kind of lawlessness will increase on this earth.  People will rise up against followers of Jesus Christ and such hatred of God would manifest itself daily more increasingly while lies would be believed and truth would be ignored and even hated.   We are seeing these and other Biblical predictions coming true despite people not even knowing why it’s happening or aware they are fulfilling biblical prophecies on a daily basis.

Who’s our spiritual father and which side are you on?

Jesus said our father is the devil himself unless we are born again meaning our broken relationship with God is renewed.   And the only way that can happen is if sin can be forgiven and some kind of payment made to forgive such sin against God.   All crimes and acts of violence and sin will not go unpunished.   God is perfect and holy and cannot have sin in His presence. Therefore someone must pay the penalty for sin.     However, we as human beings by nature love sin so its quite apparent we have a problem….. especially if God is real and really cannot have sin His presence.   We love sin but God hates sin.    This creates the biggest dilemma for humankind.   People must somehow try to remove God, destroy His followers, ignore His existence and that He hates sin or…… repent and submit to God.    Simply put, we all either find ourselves on God’s side or Satan’s side.    We’re either working for and serving God or we’re working for the Devil and living to serve sin.

Despite what people might attempt to do with God whether it be to ignore Him in their minds and actions, or whether it be to seek Him with their whole heart,  He says we are by nature children of His anger (children of wrath).   We deserve judgment in hell no matter what we think about God, Religion or other people.    The reason is because our deserving of judgment has nothing to do with our actual goodness or our perceived goodness and good deeds.       But when it seemed like there was no hope for any of us to escape God’s judgment for breaking His Law or enter His presence, God made a way of escape and way of salvation.

If you’re brave and haven’t already,  take the Good Person Test and see how you measure up to God’s standard of holiness

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  Proverbs 9:10

” There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
” Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; ” The poison of asps is under their lips”;
” Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
” Their feet are swift to shed blood;
Destruction and misery are in their ways;
And the way of peace they have not known.”
” There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Romans 3:10-18

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.    Romans 5:8

Liberal Democrats Hate Christians and Conservatism – Part One

good_evil

Just by watching the Democrat media reaction to a candidate we can learn which candidates are Christian and/or Conservative and which ones are not or are fakes.  The media will attack in the attempt to destroy any person who is a true Christian, Conservative and/or has biblical values.  Pro life? Pro biblical marriage?  Fighting to save Christians and others from persecution?  You will be attacked, lied about and targeted.   In this case the person in line for attack is Ben Carson.  Before that it was Donald Trump.   Before that is was Herman Cain, George W. Bush, Michele Bachmann, Alan Keyes and the list goes on.  Currently we see the hate the Democrats and liberals have for Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina,  Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin.   All of these people have one thing in common.  They stand behind Christians, biblical values and hate what God calls evil.

Again the Democrat media is pretending that not lying matters to them because they know it’s important to Christians.   In this case they are doing this by fabricating a story about Mr. Carson.   This cleverly written story attempts to make it appear that Ben Carson lied about his attendance at a specific school in the past.  If the Democrats can smear a Christian Conservative their work is complete.   Even though these Christians and conservatives stand-up against Muslim terrorists like ISIS and Al-Qaeda who kill Christians, the Democrat media will instead attempt to destroy the Christians and conservatives who want to fight this enemy.    Could the Democrat and liberal media secretly be rooting for ISIS?  Could the likes of Michael Moore and Bill Maher who really hate God be rooting for the enemies of America because their goals are the same?

One proof that any person is not or not wanting to be on the enemy’s side would be their support for people who stand against the murder of innocents such as is seen in Christian based persecution and abortion.  They would instead support people who believe that such persecution of Christians, Jews and others is pure evil.  They would believe that the imprisonment, torture and murder of those who have faith in Jesus Christ can only originate from the devil himself because of his hatred of God.   They would vote for true justice where good triumphs over evil and God’s moral standards are upheld.

Next time I will visit how Democrats and liberals alike continue their false accusations against Christians and conservative candidates who run for president in their attempt to destroy them.

As News each day Affirms, Jesus Predicted the Hatred of Christians

In light of the Community College shooting in Roseburg Oregon, various reports have stated the shooter specifically targeted Christians.   Jesus made some very relevant statements concerning the hatred of His followers (also called Christians) a long time ago.  In the book of John from the Bible Jesus stated these words to His disciples,  “If you were of the world, the world would love its own.
